Mental Health in the Church
No More Silence!
There is a stigma surrounding receiving mental health support from counselors or therapists. It has been a concern in particularly the African American community over the years. We are bringing awareness to the area of mental health and wellness so that our parishioners will learn to have positive mental health. It is truly a process and a journey for each of us, so we realize it may take time for us to understand this area of ministry and have patience as we learn new strategies to manage our mental wellness.
